A Little Girl's Big Heart
Salam Lanterns was born from love, acceptance, and a family's dedication to making every child feel seen and celebrated.
The Spark
It all began with a little girl named Blair, whose father Ruben had recently embraced Islam. Blair loved visiting the Masjid and made wonderful Muslim friends there.
The Realization
Blair wanted to share her favorite activity—sticker books—with her friends. But she discovered something heartbreaking: no sticker books celebrated girls who wear hijab.
The Solution
Blair told her mother Catherine about this problem. Together, they searched everywhere but found nothing. That's when they had a powerful idea: "Let's make one!"
The Mission
Now Blair, Catherine, and Ruben work together to create the first authentic Hijabi sticker books—because every girl deserves to see herself in play.
“Every child, regardless of their background or faith, deserves to see themselves reflected in the joy of play.
